Leadership

I have been a pastor for more than 40 years. I moved to South Carolina in 2000 from East Tennessee. I am the Founder/Counselor of The Potter’s House FAMILY COUNSELING. Also, a certified LIFE COACH. My wife Kathy and I have two daughters and a son (who is also a pastor).
Kathy and I have 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. I love to teach, preach and make a difference in the lives of others. I love any sport and I am a DEVOUT University of Tennessee fan! (forgive me)

After 30 years of serving the United States Air Force in both active duty and Department of Defense Contractor specialties, Tucker found his purpose.  He has served Flat Rock since 2021.  His passion is to ensure the church is operationally strong from leadership and coordination of all church activities and help implement best practices and procedures for the church to be a vessel for God's word!

Ashley has worked with children for over nine years. She has three children two sons Landon and Asher and one daughter Avenley. She is married to Josh Stancil and her and Josh are both proud alumni of Liberty High School. She loves to volunteer in her community and loves the outdoors.  Her passion to teach children Gods word.

Tim and Misty have many years of experience in ministering to youth.  They serve the youth of Flat Rock by providing Bible study that is relevant to the life of middle and high schoolers, as well as planning fun youth events.

Michele loves being the Administrative Assistant at Flat Rock Baptist Church.  After working 28 years with the state, she retired and found this perfect job for her.   She loves Jesus and serving this church for Him.
